This is an extended remix of Montiey stoplight.
I have split the provided top shell part into pieces that can be printed separately.
The now separated flanged sun shields are inserted to the openings from the frontside.
They are glued together with the case and the internal transparent neutral white inserts.
Replace the inserts with coloured foil if needed.
Update:
added pic with sample pcb screwed on
added a plan schematic for low current LED shining bright consuming 3mA current only.
As you might think, this is a little bit of joking.
The LED's CAN NOT FIGHT THE SUNLIGHT.
PUT THE STOP LIGHT IN A SHADOWED AREA.

Have added two flat inserts 29.8mm dia (closed, hollowed).
Have put the fat backcase 50x130x30mm to the universe.
Just in case you are going to make something bigger ;-)
Have the case in two versions:
the flat has the LED's only (stl file for download)
fat thing that can hold the electronics and a battery as well.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2434221
The depicted red and green front inserts can be omitted if the LED's are not bright enough.
Otherwise a coloured transparent thin foil can be added inside the housing.
Ask the local hobby store for Windradfolie oder Bastelfolie, nonadhesive preferred, 0.4mm thickness is sufficiently enough for the stop light.
Example:https://www.modulor.de/bastelmappe-fensterfolie-farbig-transparent-s-0-1-mm-230-x-330-7-blatt.html
They can be had in different size, thickness and many colours.
Take that if you have no other than black filament by hand , he ;-)
For calculating the (shunt-) resistors look athttp://www.spaceflakes.de
This site has an interactive calculator for exactly that purpose.
As a sample I have added a plan for the low current LED's I have purchased.
Now the stop light shell has evolved into a universal system of parts for several purpose cases.
Changes, additions I have designed and made:
Have simplified the shape of the shell parts,
removed the switch hole,
designed thin and thick LED insert plates, that can be exchanged / adapted easily to LED that has other shapes.
designed intermediate open case frame,
designed a big bottom case part derived from the provided rear shell,
added mountholes with captured nuts to the backside plates,
added a few screw on posts to the backplate for holding something like a PCB.
added a few screw on posts to the frontplate for holding something like a PCB, i.e. a thin plate with surface mounted LED, tactile switches,...
Have added a cable go through to the fat case.
It has the same "Stopfen" that I have made for my Notausschalter-case:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2412076
