I've had this neat little amplifier strapped without a case to my computer for a couple of years now, and it bothered me every time I saw it. Now I finally got around to design a small little case for it, to print out!
The amp itself can be found and bought here: http://shop.41hz.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=43
I don't think cooling will be an issue, I've been using mine without any cooling for a long time and it doesn't even get hot, so yeah. But I added some holes for fresh air to come in and out of the case anyways to be on the safe side. I also added a little boldge-out so that the amp-chip doesn't lay straight against the plastic, once again, just to be on the safe side.
One other thing, you can't have the screw-terminal for DC-input mounted with this case. The DC-jack is the way to go.
What's needed more than the amp and the printed case is four machine-screws M3x12 and M3-nuts (w. 6mm outer width)
I printed mine with a Mendel90 printer in black PLA, 0,2mm layer height. Needed some fixing with a knife afterwards, but it turned out really nice.
Questions, suggestions and other comments are welcome!
