This is a new front for the Commodore Amiga A1011 floppy drive. It allows you to mount 2 slim line floppy drives like the NEC FD 3238T or TEAC FD005. Matching mounting brackets are included, too.
Additionally you need a bit of electronics to supply the floppy drive id's to the Amiga. You can find my solution on github at https://github.com/sgust/Amiga-A1012-PCB. Alternativly you can build the usual Amiga floppy drive id circuit on a piece of prototyping board. It is possible to desolder the special flat foil cable connectors on the floppy drives and replace them with a directly soldered 1mm pitch flat cable which can be connected through a 24 pin 2 row connector to the original cable.
