Which was published in the public domain.
I split the paths (by color), and imported separately into TinkercCAD (scaled to 5%), setting each one to a different height.
You can use a plug in for Cura (or other slicer) to set a filament change when the layers start.
Each version assumes a layer height of 0.2mm, with a first layer height of 0.3mm.
For standard American flag. Start with red. Change to blue as layer 3, Change to white at layer 5.
For the thin blue line American flag. Start with black. Change to white at layer 3, Change to blue at layer 5.
Default print size is 128mm x 78.765mm x 1.3mm high
My print bed is 310x310. I'm able to scale x and y by 200% for 256mm x 157.53mm, or 225% for 288mm x 177.2212mm.
If you adjust the Z scale (to make the map thicker), you'll need to adjust the filament color changes accordingly.
5/25 Tested the thin blue line version. Working thru some issues, but not a bad first test. Stringing between the stars - I'm dehydrating the white filament now. Z hop was already enabled.
There are little spaces within the stars.... should probably increase the number of layer (z scale 200% or more) and/or use a finer resolution than 0.2mm. Also looks like a little under extrusion on a few of the white stripes. I'm thinking of turning surface ironing on for a smoother finish.

With ironing on, but scaled to 300% on z-axis.
