I don't know if it was just me but I found sanding the slope on a sax neck/mouthpiece cork was difficult to get right. So, I designed this little block to make it a breeze. Just fit a sheet of 2mm cork (Make sure it is a really good fit with no bowing in either axis) into it and flip it onto a fine sheet of wet'n'dry on an absolutely flat surface and with a back and forth motion you get what to my feel is the best fitting neck cork ever. It feels better than a pro fitted neck cork. I have quite a few alto mouthpieces, some used to fit my sax and some didn't, now they all fit perfectly.
It is best printed with 0.1 mm or lower layer height so you get very small stepping in the centre. Otherwise, you could get a wavy neck cork and the fit wont be as good as it could be.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
