I needed AC power to feed to 220VAC heat bed and the DC +5, +12 and GND to feed my RAMPS1.4 and limit switches i came up with a solution.
I shall share a small video so that everybody knows the intent of design and its safe use. Two identical plugs/Sockets for AC and DC voltage shall be color coded/ tagged so that they can fit at the same location and no blue-smoke emerges due to wrongly putting 220VAC plug in DC socket. I am using ATX computer power supply to get +12DC +5VDC and GND. FOR DC plug, the top pin is GND , Left is +5VDC and Right is +12VDC. The socket and plug i shall both color RED and right down DC.
For AC... Top pin is connected to nothing, Left and Right is connected to Neutral and Live. I will just right down and tag it AC. Again the above picture shows non-live end, this box will be directly connected to the printer. If you remove the plugs and touch the pins of the socket (as shown in above picture ) you will find no current. And off course if the Power-supply is connected you can not touch the pins of Plug as it is female and you have no approach to touch
SAFETY:
The Picture shows the receiving end of 220V do not use it vice versa... The Plug that is not shown will carry 220V.
