I use the Stanley 25-Compartment Organizers for my X-Wing Miniatures collection, and have tried many solutions for maximizing space and keeping the models safe. I reviewed most of the similar designs on Thingiverse, but there were none that had everything I wanted. So I started to design my own series, and based on my collection (I own at least one of almost everything, including Epic).
My design goals:
Maximize Space
Attractive Presentation
Include the pilot cards
Include the movement dials whenever possible
Sadly, the Stanley "Small Cup" leaves no room for the Movement Dial, and some other designs would have to give up too much space. And, the Dials are just a little too tall to sit inside a cup, as the top of the Stanley Box pushes on them and deforms the Dial. So, here is my initial design for 7x Movement Dial Holder. There are 3 versions (so far). A Plain One (just "X-Wing Miniatures" text), one for 6x TIE Fighter & 1 TIE Striker (Core Set, TFA Core Set, TIE Fighter Expansion, Gozani Cruiser), and one for 3x T-65 X-Wing (Core Set, X-Wing Expansion, Rebel Transport) & 3x T-70 X-Wing (TFA Core Set, T-70 X-Wing Expansion, Heroes of the Resistance) and 1x Y-Wing (Y-Wing Expansion). The reason for the lone Y-Wing is that I have 2x Scum & Villany sets, so it was easier to design a 3x Y-Wing holder for Scum. I can probably change the text for folks upon request, or go to OnShape and you can modify it yourself.
The Logo and text can painted in with white model paint. This would be a great opportunity for dual-extrusion (but I don't have dual-extrusion yet. If there are requests, I can probably put up another version ready for dual-extrusion, instead of a cut-out design.
This will fit the Stanley 25 Compartment Organizer (https://amzn.com/B00005QWYF) or the Harbor Freight 20 Compartment version (https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-storage/part-storage/19-bin-portable-parts-storage-case-93928.html).
As I complete and post more of this collection, I will link them here as well.

Yes, I will be posting Empire and Scum as I get to them.
UPDATE: July 1, 2017: Most models now have a v3.1 design, with the top of the cup lowered by 3mm, which will allow the "nubs" on the top of the Stanley Organizer to close better. Also, to accomodate this, I changed the Text and Logos to Raised instead of Sunken.
UPDATE: August 10, 2017: B-Wing Added! I haven't had a lot of time recently, so new designs are slow to come, but I am working on them. I am re-doing the Y-Wing design (it was printed in a gold and in one of the pics). Also, for those looking for color differences in materials, the X-Wing, A-Wing, and double B-Wing cups were printed with SainSmart Red PLA. For the Single B-Wing, K-Wing, E-Wing, Attack Shuttle, YT-1300, YT-2400 and Sabine's TIE Fighter, I used the GP3D Red PLA. I must say that I much prefer the color and finish of the GP3D Red over the SainSmart Red.
UPDATE: February 6, 2018: Life has kept me away from designing, so I haven't been able to work on any new designs in a while. I still intend to finish out the Rebel fleet, and then move on to the Imperials and Scum, but time will tell. In the interim, check out 3D_Pressure's Designs. While 3D_Pressure and I differ on a few design ideas, he has continued on in the spirit of my designs, and I really like some of his creative ideas.
Note #2: I know the YT-2400 and YT-1300 designs are a little tight sometimes. Next time I do a set of revisions, I will open up the hollow for both ships a little bit.
