Chimera Cyclops Mag Effector

When it comes to precision on a Delta printer, nothing even comes close to Haydn Huntley's Magball arms. Making use of them, combined with the lightest leveling probe you can buy, it is designed to minimize the effector tilt by fitting the Ball-studs as low as possible to the printing plane.
This is by far the lightest and most compact Chimera / Cyclops effector you can find.

Jan 2020 Update 4.0- New, highly efficient 360deg cooling ring. Other small improvements
Jan 2018 Update 3.1 - Increased the size of the cooling tubes (v3.1). They only work with v1.1 effector

In the past I've used an E3d V6 with this effector https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2361081. Changing to Chimera it meant it couldn't be used with a Piezo probe.
This one has the same 64mm spacing and Magnetic arms but it's using a 50x15mm Blower and Escher's IR Differential Probe. From the blower the cooling air goes inside the effector before exiting the 11 ports arranged in a circle around the nozzles. That makes for a very light and compact effector.
On the other hand, you are losing 2cm next to the Z tower because the blower will touch the belt if you let it.

If you are Europe based you can buy both the IR Probe and Haydn Huntley's Magball Arms from https://www.duet3d.com/
Pictures are self-explanatory but keep in mind...
Printed at 200u and at least 80% infill, no supports needed
Fit first the Ball-studs then in order the:
IR probe (the two screws can be a bit of a pain to fit so first thread the screws without the IR board)
Heat-sink
Each complete heater block https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/Chimera+Assembly/11,
30mm Cooling fan (one or two screws on the bottom)
Blower fan (should click in place, if not use some tape or glue)
Plug in then cable tie all the wires

Silicone socks (will fit easily if you cut a bit from each one in such way they would not double up between the heater blocks, making sure it will still hook fine on all sides)

Always run the blower at 15% speed when the heaters are on
To use with the 64mm Mag Carriages herehttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3140322

Enjoy :-)
