For those with 3D Systems Cube 3 Printers that use stock or modified original cartridges, I offer you this clamp. In case the locking tabs on the stock cartridges crack or breaks away, you can use this device to replace the failed or failing tabs that hold the cartridge in place.

Without the cover modification shown, pull the nub at the bottom of the cartridge away from the printer. This is a fairly reliable way to remove the cartridge when it feels like it is hanging up.
Update 01/18/2019: I've added an alternate logo version of the cartridge saver. The geometry is identical except for the logo on the face now shows a little Cube3 icon. I've also started printing in PETG. Seems to be the perfect material for this type of device. Of course, PLA is perfectly functional. ABS has not been tested by me.
