Our Project is designed to help patients who suffer from semi-impaired movement in their hand as a result of stroke, accidents or other disorders, such as hypermobility. The exercises that our project would provide for the hand would help to work the muscles in the forearm and wrist. The muscles that would be exercised include the Flexor Digitorum Superficialis muscle, which controls the hand’s grip and the Abductor Pollicis Brevis Muscle, which controls Abduction, the movement of of circular motion of the hand and the contraction of the hand.
Our aim is to produce a product that strengthens the muscles in the patient’s hand, rehabilitating their hand so that it can work properly. We hope the design would be simple and effective, while appealing to look at.
We used PLA, the soft one not the hard one
