The Larson Electronics ATEX-HALP-24-2L-LED-1X30W-PPM-R1-220V Flameproof LED Pole Mount Linear Fixture is designed for outdoor illumination in ATEX/IECEx rated flammable environments. Equipped with one, 30-watt LED lamp, this 24" fixture is compatible with 100V-250V AC, 50/60 Hz. The IP66-rated unit is constructed of glass fiber reinforced polyester with a polycarbonate lens and features an interlocking system for protection.

The ATEX-HALP-24-2L-LED-1X30W-PPM-R1-220V is a powerful lighting solution for combustible facilities, industrial sites and outdoor locations. This 30-watt unit operates on 100V-250V AC, 50/60 Hz with a single-lamp design. During use, the 2-foot fixture offers 3,700 lumens of output in a flood beam configuration, with an exceptional CRI rating of 75 and a color temperature rating of 5700K.

This full-plastic explosion proof fixture is constructed of glass fiber reinforced polyester. The lens consists of UV-resistant polycarbonate and is equipped with a foam gasket. This IP66-rated unit comes with an approximate lifespan of 50,000+ hours and is suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated Zone 1/Zone 2 and Zone 21/Zone 22 flammable environments. An internal interlock switch powers down the fixture during maintenance to ensure safety. Equipped with a T6 temperature rating, the outdoor fixture can be used in locations with ambient temperatures ranging between -40°C to +55°C.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated.

Wiring: The ATEX-HALP-24-2L-LED-1X30W-PPM-R1-220V features two L1, L2, L, N and PE terminals for completing electrical connections. Cables are fed through one, M25 x 1.5 hub located at the side of the fixture. This unit comes with two, M25 x 1.5 molded plastic/polyamide stopping plugs. A central locking system protects the internal components of the unit, which must be unlocked during installation or relamping.

Mounting Compatibility: This explosion proof light is equipped with a slip-fit pole mount bracket for mounting to street light type poles or bull horns. The fixture slides onto the top of the pole and set screws are tightened to secure the fixture. We do offer standard ceiling, pendant, chain hanging, angle bracket variants of this fixture.
