1968 was the greatest year for the Stallion. HMC built it into the fastest Stallion to ever roll out of the factory. The 'Blue-Bullet' as it was affectionately named after its striking steel blue paint, had a big 427 under the hood supplying it with 600whp @ 6500rpm and 650lb-ft of torque @ 4500rpm. Many exterior modifications were made as well: The chrome grille was exchanged for a racing grille, the rear end was modified for racing, the rims were painted gray instead of chrome, a rear window shade, the GT headlights, the tailfin, and badges to specifiy the 427cid and the 'Blue-Bullet' logo. The 'Blue-Bullet' was built for racing and it was produced in limited numbers, making it the rarest and most prized and sought-after Stallion. #car #HMC #muscle_car #sports_car #vehicle
