at this point I have no FPV gear so I didn't include camera mount, when I will receive a camera I will redesign top plate so I can mount it. This is a work in progress and I will update this model with new parts. To assemble the frame I used WN1452 screws.
Frame size: 180mm
Motors: DYS BE1806
ESC: EMAX 12A SimonK
Flight controller: CC3D mounted 90° so you can access usb port from the side
Reciever: Turnigy 9x8Cv2
Battery: Multistar 3S 1400mAh High discharge
Weight with battery installed: 397,5g
this model was inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2155553
I wanted a slightly bigger model where I can mount ESC in arms so I made this.
Required printed parts to build the frame:
Bottom_plate 1x
Top_plate 1x
Front 1x
Side 2x
Rear 1x
Lower_arm 4x
Upper_arm 4x
Feet 4x
UPDATE
added mounting holes in bottom_plate for runcam swift
added cutout in top_plate
added cutout in front
This design has a major flaw, which I choose to ignore from the begining. Top and bottom plates break easily at the places where arms connect. Screw holes don't have enough material around them. It's still flyable and flies pretty well, unless you have high impact crashes, then screw holes tend to break. So I won't update this project anymore and start to work on a different design. I can provide files if someone wants to try and machine top and bottom plates from carbon plates, but still I think there need to be more material around screw holes.
