14500 (AA cell) to 25500 (26650 = C cell) adaptor sleeve for use in devices designed for 26650 sized cells.
Note: 14500 sized cells physically contain a fraction of the storage capacity of 26650 sized cells. AA cell alkaline are not a suitable replacement for C cell alkaline batteries. It is not recommended to use these adaptors in this capacity for anything other than testing or temporary emergency use.
Not all 14500 sized cells have the same outer diameter, typically due to differences in the plastic shrink insulation used. Dummy AA cells, 14500 LiIon cells, etc. tend to be slightly thicker than AA alkaline brands.
1400mm (14mm ID) = cells with no plastic shrink insulation
1425mm (14.25mm ID) = most AA alkaline cells
1450mm (14.5mm ID) = dummy cells and LiIon cells
1500mm (15mm ID) = IMR with adhesive branding labels
Side note: Designed for using 2xIMR/LiIon 14500 cells in devices intended to run off of 4xC cell alkaline batteries. This results in an over voltage state that can potentially damage electronics designed around the 6.6v ceiling of 4 factory fresh, quality alkaline batteries. 2x lithium cells rated at 7.4v typically peak around 8.4v on a full charge when new. Internal protective circuitry may trip upon detecting an over voltage state (device won't operate). Worst case scenario: over voltage state can burn out components rated for lower voltage.
In short: use in this capacity at your own risk.
