Linear rail conversion for d-bot 3D printer uses two 12mm MN12C linear bogies per side on top, bottom support not needed. Note one MN12H per side maybe the better solution. f3d file provided for you to mod it to suit your linear bearing desires.
"mk1m" model.
Print 2, one per side.
Parts per side/support,
a) one x M5 x 10mm and two x M5 x 12mm + 5mm washers.
b) three x M5 tee nuts
c) Needs eight M3 x 14mm bolts + washers
d) Needs two x M3 nuts per support for bearings
e) Needs two M3 x 30mm bolts
f) Four x F623ZZ std d-bot belt bearings + 3mm washers
1/10/2017 "mk1p" added, this is a bit stiffened up. (red support not clear support, clear support is UV gantry support)
Note under test / build at present, maybe be wrong, use with care.
Fusion 360 f3d file provided to change to different rails such as a mgn12H which maybe a better solution.
Depending on how accurate the bogies are with 2 bogies per side one may need packing with pieces of paper to correct the height levels. Good quality bogies shouldnt need much correction, maybe 1 piece of paper ie 0.05mm. Bad ones can be 0.7mm out!
Choose linear rail supplier carefully, I found these good,
