This is a re-mix of a 150g Antweight Bot from earthwormjim, keeping his beautiful design and upping it from 150g to 1 pound. I only have a tiny monoprice mini, with a 120x120 bed, so the body had to be broken up into 3 parts. adds to the fun!
thrown into this is an option for a self right hinged lid. Its funky, but "should" work.
Electronics I crammed in there:
Esc = DasMikro Duel (http://tinyurl.com/ybvkxqxj)
RX= Hobby King 6 channel to work with the entry level Hobby King HK-T6A Transmitter (3 channel works too if you are not attempting the servo option )
Drive Motors= N20's 50:1 (though I think 30:1 would be quicker)
Weapon Motor= DYS BE1806 2300KV brushless (http://tinyurl.com/y8rayba8)
Weapon ESC = RaceStar 10a (http://tinyurl.com/yd35e9la)
Battery = Nano-tech 3s 180mah (3s 450mha fits too)
Flipper Servo (* super experimental) TGY-225mg
Wheels = Lego 35mm + the 3d printed lego hub attached
Door hinge pin and servo link arm are bent coat hangers.
All body screws and hardware are 3mm
belly mounted master switch = i use these DPDT from amazon, (http://tinyurl.com/y6v7nf3m)
On the armor plates, weapon mount arms and weapon paddle itself I am using uhmw polyethylene sheets from McMaster. 0.25 for armor and arms, 0.5 for paddle.
on the n20's. I used a pair of small zip ties on each, they wiggle around, so that is not great, but since they are trapped in the body, they cant go too far. works good enough.
