This is a tube pressing support for the small 1/4" ID x 2" long tubes from Skylighter, Pyro Creations, etc. The insert is a bit longer than the tubes in order to accommodate an additional small section of tube to allow loading of the last increment flush with the top of the tube. The inserts is a press fit inside a piece of SCH40 3/4" PVC pipe for additional diameter/stability. You'll want to print a few layers as a test to confirm dimensions for your particular tubes and PVC pipe, and scale up or down as needed for a perfect fit.
The original idea was to split this print, and the outer piece of PVC down their length with a hacksaw, and then use T-Bolt clamps to apply/release pressure. This proved to be unnecessary for me, using 4500PSI on the BP comp with 2% additional moisture.
The second part is attached to an additional length of 3/4" PVC, and allows the pressing support to be rested on top, and the motor pushed through with the rammer.
