Extend your 12V/ 24V power adapter to support up to 4 devices. There are multi-socketed cables on the market but they all go from 1 input source to multiple outputs with short fixed-length cables.
This box allows you to hook up 4 x 2.1mm DC socket female jacks (panel mount type). On any of the jacks, you can link a cable for a fourth output. The base has a hole provisioned for that.
This was originally designed for my Printrbot, to split the 12V source to the printer and 2 fans (with 1 spare port). But I've since settled for 5V fans: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:948410
