I wanted to build a ZOHD Dart 2s setup with a high Kv motor setup not unlike the Strix Nano Goblin. However, the 12x12mm motor mounting commonly found on 1407 and similar sized motors won't fit the Dart's standard mount.
So I designed an adapter which is about 4mm thick with countersunk holes for the M2 motor mounting bolts that came with my 1407 motor. They are hex bolts with a 2mm thick head, if your screws/bolts have a thicker head than that then you might want to play with the thickness of the adapter to make sure your bolts don't stick out.
Mount the motor to the adapter and then screw the adapter to the Dart's motor mount with the supplied screws.
So I designed an adapter which is about 4mm thick with countersunk holes for the M2 motor mounting bolts that came with my 1407 motor.
