I wanted to power a raspberry pi 3b from the 24v power supply on the Prusa MK3s.
Here is the voltage step down from 24v to 5v DC
You must set the small pot screw (about 15-20 turns before voltage change)while connected to volt meter to get the correct voltage. before connecting.

I will just use a dab of hot glue to secure the box to the bottom of the printer.
