ZA Worm with Globoid Gearwheel

Here my gear series continues with a worm gear design. The tooth of the worm has the ZA shape and is designed to be cylindrical. The gearwheel therefore is designed to have a globoid shape. The ZA worm is the most common worm gear design.
As it can be seen in the section, the gearwheel tooth flanks are designed to perfectly fit with the worm teeth.
