Because the one thing Thingiverse needs is another loose filament spooler. I tried a few and liked bits and pieces of each one, but wanted to combine their features into one that works well for me!
The hub concept comes from Filament Spooler. The spoke with holes concept comes from Alternate Arms for Mini Loose Filament Spool, which in itself is a remix of Mini Loose Filament Spool (Full Printable !).
