I was inspecting a few tools out there and was wondering about how sturdy some of them would be...and then some concerns about fitting some connectors.
So once again I built my own from scratch, though inspired by some of the others out there.
I was a bit concerned first off of breaking the tool and adding more plastic seemed like a good idea. Then I was worried about the tool not fitting the common compression connector. So here is my end result.
I tried my best to accommodate these issues though I still am not happy with the fact you still need to spread the tool slightly to get it around regular RG6/RG59 cable, and yes even common compression (versus crimp or twist-on) fittings it's still tight to get on. But it will save me some cursing trying to tighten RG6 on connectors 1" apart from each other.
