This is a replacement nut that fits Yamaha RBX4A2 and RBX4A2M basses, and possibly others with 40 millimeter nut width. It was designed for, and tested with flatwound strings, with gauges 0.100, 0.070, 0.056 and 0.043 (Thomastik-Infeld JF34). Roundwounds would probably bite into the string slots due to the layer structure, affecting tuning stability.
I recommend printing the nut with 100% infill. It should fit very snugly into the slot, and it should hold there without any gluing. The 1st fret action is very low. If you like higher 1st fret action, you'll have to modify the mesh.
