It's a filament feeder for my Tronxy P802D Prusa i3 clone. The filament goes in the back, then comes out the front, down to the extruder.
I said I'd add photos once I'd printed a finished version (My OctoPi lost contact with the printer for the last 20% of the build, I've been using that one, it worked, it looked terrible!), well I'm true to my word, if slow. Used up some sample filament that came with my i3. Designed in FreeCAD, sliced in Ultimaker Cura 3.4.1, printed with leftover fag-ends at 0.1mm and "Gradual (90%)" fill, with no support structures but with a brim bed adhesion layer. You need to place a "table" under the front base clamp or it gets all dangly and rough, but I don't recommend Cura's supports for this, as they're MONGRELS to get out of the "spout".
The stock Tronxy kits have no speakable belt tension adjustment and that was also a large part of why I didn't bother showing the first print. I've added some adjustable belt tension mods and the print quality is through the roof! I'll publish that set of things once I refine the design.
Much all else I've printed lately is top secret for now. Some will be published here, some are commercial projects and won't be.
I've been printing for nearly a month now and this is just amazing!
