Dual Y-axis rail for Ender 3 v2. Should works fine on Ender 3 Pro, but not tested. This mod does not alter build volume nor the printer dimension. The bed position (and nozzle position relative to bed) also does not changed compared the original Ender 3 V2 design.
The base plate is touching directly to MGN12H slider, so the 3D printed part does not hold the load. The 3D printed part only to keep base plate connected to slider.
Parts Required
2x MGN12H sliding block
2x MGN12 rail 300mm
4x M3 T-nut for aluminum profile 2020
12x M3 6mm screw
4x M3 15mm screw
4x M3 nut
Assembly Steps
Make sure both rails perfectly center and parallel.
Disassemble the y-axis carriage and all the rollers of the y-axis.
Assemble rail to both side of y-axis aluminum profile, put M3 screw to both very end holes. Use rail_mount_guide to properly adjust position.
Tighten the left side rail (motor side) and leave the right side rail (LCD side) not too tight (tight enough so the rail cannot move, but not too tight so the rail can be moved a little bit).
Assemble y-mount to base plate on both sides. Use use M3 screw and __mount_adapter__ to assemble. Leave assembly a little bit loose.
Put the base plate assembly to MGN12H block.
Put screws to connect y-mount to MGN12H block on both side.
Tighten all the screws on the left side first, on the block and base plate.
Tighten all the screws on right side MGN12H.
Tighten all the screws on the base plate.
Loosen a bit the screw at right rail so the rail can move a bit.
Move the Y carriage all the way to front, then tighten the rail screw at the front.
Move the Y carriage all the way to back, then tighten the rail screw at the rear.
Make sure the carriage can move freely with very little resistance.
Reassemble the bed.
