This is inspired by Lawsy's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:104817 chain cable.
I've used this cable chain to replace the stiff corrugated wire bundle tube that the wiring for the Y-axis of my Solidoodle 4 uses.
The stock wire bundle tube was catching on the base plate on tall prints which would knock the plate enough to wreck a multi-hour print in the last 15 minutes or so.
It pinches the Y-axis stepper motor using a 3mm screw. Twenty links were printed and snapped together and then the mount to the Solidoodle computer is attached to the plastic case using silicone (easy to remove).
I can print without those nasty last minute surprises. :-)
