This is just a simple box for the DC4005 module I got from Banggood.( http://www.banggood.com/5A-XL4005-DCDC-Adjustable-Step-Down-Module-Power-Supply-Converter-p-923600.html)
I know the picture is not the best, but i built the box to hold the epoxy/resin that I used to try to make the module vibration and crash proof. I am using this because it is suposed to be a 5A step down regulated switching power supply. I am using this to power the SP Racing F3 flight controller and servo's on my FPV airplane.
I printed the box in PLA, attached a heat sink to the chip, then poured resin into the box. the resin was thick enough to not spill out the end where the wires are cut in.
I have not powered up the plane yet but I have tested the module, and set it to 5v.
the pic is of the module in the box with the hardened resin and the heat sink installed in the unfinished fuselage of my Video Aerial System's Specter.
I included the Sketchup file if you want to modify it easily, as it is the sides are short, as i only wanted to resin the board and the torrid
