Description
These covers are used to hide 9 pin (3+6 actually) JULET connectors which are frequently used in custom dual motor projects. This set is about 1.5-2 times larger in all dimensions than original covers. I installed this set of covers on my scooter and all of them fit just fine.
Pack contains 3 types of covers:
front motor cover (4 screws mount, U-shape sticker)
rear motor cover (2 screws, I-shape sticker). Fits both left and right wire out configuration
non motor cover (2 screws, I-shape sticker)
Also there is a mounting plate in this package. You should print one plate for each cover. This part is universal and compatible with all 4 spots of installation (just install it with arrow pointing down on front wheel)
Printing
I suggest you not to use any supports (everything will be fine with bridges) and bed adhesion parts (espesially brim or rafts on mounting pad - it could destroy groove on the bottom of this part). Print with plastic which could handle a little stretching while clipping cover on mounting pad (PETG will be fine)
Installation
Screw mounting pad in place (you can use original covers' screws, but on rear motor cover I suggest you to use countersunk screw. Despite the fact that mounting plate don't have a chamfer, it will give you about about 1 mm more space vertical, which is really matter when you want to hide JULET connector under it)
Clip cover on mounting pad and align screw holes on both parts
Screw them together with M3*8 screws countersunk screws. Do not apply force to tighten the screw - it will stay there just fine (and there are no axial forces on it)
Things to know
This part is not perfectly aligned on top of front fork (see on photo)
You should keep JULET wire from wheel as short as possible. This set could be mounted with 2-3 cm wire length before connector. In my case 2.5 cm works fine.
You could swap front motor cover and rear one (just because mounting platform is the same it will be fine)
You don't actually need non motor cover. I had made it just to make all things symmetrical.
