!UPDATE! - 12 March, 2017
I have updated the files with the following changes:
Removed the 1.5 degree downthrust as in testing it was not needed
Smoothed and optimized the shell
Moved the key back far enough to be behind the spar clamp for added security
For more info, here is my build page on this project:http://www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=X-UAV_Mini_Talon_Build_Number_3
My test plane flies beautifully the only issue being on launch it is a little more sensitive to how you throw it. I have found the best throws are straight and level with no up or down pitch and at 100% throttle.
This project was done by request and it has come out pretty well so far. Originally I looked at a smaller diameter version as seen on this Thingiverse Bix3 piece -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:469613
The problem with these Bix2 modules is there is no way to remove the motor without un-glueing the motor pods. The larger diameter fixes this and also creates enough space inside the pod to tuck extra motor wire in for easy connect/disconnect. I did consider adding enough space for a small ESC but this could present issues with too long battery wires as well as heat build-up so I have parked the idea for now.
Key points:

This motor pod/nacelle is designed for a 22XX stator size motor such as a Cobra 2213 or Turnigy SK3 2830. The cross mount holes are 3.1mm and on a 33.5mm bolt circle.

The weight prediction at 25% infill is 27g for PLA but when printed at 35% in ABS, it came out to ~23g.

There is now zero downthrust.

The nacelle is designed to fit just outside the M3 wing clamp hole which gives clearance for up to an 8" prop. Because there is a slight wing taper at this location there is a Left and Right nacelle.

There is a "key" that slots into the rear of the nacelle as added security/strength against bad glue or vibration failure of the joint.
Enjoy and please send a picture or two if you happen to build this!
