I bought a set of stepper dampners for my Ender 3. Like many users when I went to install them I found I had a newer model with press fit pulleys. I ended up settling on the excellent solution by A-make-designs (link below). There's also a handy video walkthrough of the setup.

This solution requires you to invert the X axis motor. Unfortunately, if like me you're running an EZABL, your probe mount will now hit the motor before the end stop is triggered. You could move the probe to the other side (similar to the included mount above) but I wanted to keep the EZABL where it was. It was working well and I prefer to keep the small part cooling fan on the other side free of obstruction.
This is the resulting bracket I designed with a longer flag to hit the end stop. It will sit snug over the top of the OEM EZABL probe mount using the same screw holes. You will need to replace the screws with 18 - 20 mm M3s though.
Note: This solution will cost you about 12mm of your printable area on the left hand side of your bed. Make sure you update your slicer and firmware accordingly. This will stop prints going off the edge or your hotend assembly crashing into the right-hand tower.
Things you need
1 x printed bracket
2 x 18mm or 20mm M3 screws
1 x socket wrench to suit your screws
Installation
1) Remove the the existing screws but hold you fan shroud and probe mount in place.
2) The new bracket is design to sit over the top of the probe mount and tabs for the metal fan shroud. Fix with the new 20mm screws. Be careful not to over tighten!
3) Auto-home and check everything is working. You don't need to do anything else but it would be a good idea to update the bed dimensions in your software at this point.
