Worm Gear are popular for their function of reducing speed with a higher gear ratio in a very small space using just two gear: Worm Gear & Worm Wheel. The model is designed with 15:1 gear ratio. A motor is connected with the Worm Gear inside upon which the Worm wheel with 15 teeth is connected. Generally the number of teeth in Worm wheel is the gear ratio in this system.
