IF your venetian blind tilt wand mechanism gets stripped (see the photo of the clear original gear), you can just print some new ones. (or for about $10 you can replace the entire gear assembly --> https://youtu.be/TN_nBu_HJJk )
See the video on how to remove and replace your assembly. it is pretty easy to disassemble yours and replace the worm gear with this one.
I printed mine on makerbot 2X using 100 Microns (Fine resolution) . Be sure to review the print settings that I had to use to get the resolution needed on the Makerbot 2X. Actually, this simple method of using a fan, prints remarkably well on the 2X!.
Once printed, I had to drill the hole in the rod with 5/64 drill bit. I then had to use the same drill bit laid laterally from the hole to the bottom of the rod to ream the slot needed for the metal twist pin.
