although to the untrained eye the R300M looks like any other aircraft from the R300 series, this aircraft is the most unique of all of them. its intended purpose is as a medium load, medium range transport for transporting softskin vehicles, combat aircraft components, and soldiers. it designed to be flown from paved airstrips and provide logistical support to airfields by carrying aircraft components, freeing up the large transports such as the C-130 and C-5. it is also very effecient as a paradrop aircraft because of its highspeed compared to most contemporary prop aircraft. some of the additional equiptment include: mid-air refueling apperatus, an improved air-air radar, a ground scan radar(mounted underneath), two Northwest Aeronautics NW-1000RI turboprops, provisions for auxilery drop tanks, improved long-ranged radio communications, chaff and flare dispensers and a large loading ramp on the back. thanks to 707, nuclearkitten, wiliamt, airbusa330 and everyone else who helped build the aircraft. #chaff #fighter #flares #fuel #gas #gear #keroscene #military #mmmmmmm_goooood #north_west_aeronautics #paradox #plane #tail #transport #turboprop #wings
