WordClock 12h (desk clock edition)
This provides a 3D printable desk frame for the awesome WordClock project maintained by users of the german µC.net forum. The WordClock will tell you the time in words in 5 minute increments and will light up the 4 dots in the corners for the minutes inbetween. You may have seen projects like this before or may have encountered the original "QLOCKTWO" by Biegert & Funk (see http://qlocktwo.com) somewhere. I built my first WordClock many years ago and thanks to users like Frank (ukw), Torsten (wawibu) and the others involved who put time, work and heart into this project it is still alive and evolving. They manage hardware bulk orders, help users and generally are a friendly bunch, so fire up Google translate in case you don´t speak german and visit us there for general project information or a friendly chat:

These Models are based on RomanBuchert´s awesome OpenSCAD Model. Thanks for sharing your awesome customizable Design! Without his script I would not have been able to release this. Get his original Design here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1330897
To build a 3D printed WordClock 12h you need to have the following prerequisites:
The Hardware described on the project page (at least a STM32F103C8T6 and probably a Shield, a DS3231 RTC, an ESP8266 module - ESP-12F if you want the ability to update the Software OTA or an ESP-01 if you want to do this manually - and a 5V 3A Power supply) minus the wooden frame and plexiglass front obviously. Its all described in the Wiki and as long as you have a bit of soldering experience you should be fine. The models are designed to fit any printer with at least a 200x200mm printbed, which should fit almost any model out there.
