Therefore, you always want a bed head cabinet to resist the cold, and you can store long items by the way. 2. design Using SketchUp to draw a design, you can virtualize the ideas in your mind and design. After designing, I want to print it directly by a 3D printer, but it is also a different kind of fun. 3. The choice of wood I chose logs this time, mainly to try to see the texture, choose pine, it is because of good processing. Originally, I also saw OSB-oriented fiberboard, which is an environmentally friendly material. However, the pillars can only be used with logs. I have to purchase them from two Sellers. Based on the simple principle, I only use logs this time. The logs that come from are also of different quality. I choose a better board that is beside the bed and choose poor grade for the remaining part. But when I received it, the grain on the poor grade wood is very characteristic, so I plan to highlight this wood grain. 4. carpentry connection Originally, I only planned to simply stack the wooden boards with screws or lock them with angle irons. Since I have already played with them, I want to try the dovetail and the cross. However, my experience is that if there is no circular saw, wire saw, and other power tools, it is not easy to cut the wood accurately, the hand saw is not easy to grasp, so if the joint is not fit, it is easy to lose pine. The skull is cracked. 5. peg joint door panel The first task is to make the center point of the board a sign. My task is to work with the child and find a way to draw the centerline of the board with the only tools on hand. The method I use is to fix the pencil, set a middle height, slide the board over the line, and then change the board to the other side and draw the line. If the height of the pencil is just the middle height, then the two lines will overlap. If not, adjust it again. We draw and let my child know what we are doing. Then through the drilling, the dowels are joined, and the crossbar is used to reinforce. After the door panel is finished, the hinge is locked, and the beechwood disc is used as a door buckle. 6. Experience During the design process, I can easily come up with various ideas, then go online to find information, check the techniques of carpentry, and continue design evaluation after work. It took a couple of days to get to sleep in the middle of the night. I was tired out, but this time I felt that the self-study was quite nice. So for the next implementation, I will use my enthusiasm to let the children experience. With two weekends, the two small ones can participate, even if it is slower.
