This is a suspension lift for the wltoys 104311 (Red Jeep), that allows more flex. It contains 4 blocks (2 front, 2 rear) that go between shocks and axles.
Parts needed to complete:
print 2 front blocks
print 2 rear blocks
4 bolts (I used 4-40 x 3/4)
4 nuts (to match bolts, but use locknuts)
Note: You could probably just print 4 front blocks, because the rear ones have extra support that won't allow them to fit in front. I designed the rear ones before the fronts, then found this out, so I have front and rear blocks on my truck.
To use:
Attach blocks to axle using original shock screws (They are intentionally too skinny and with larger holes, this allows for extra flex, otherwise the shock will bind at full suspension angles). Next, bolt shock to block with bolt and nut. You must use a bolt that is smaller than the hole to allow for flex (I used 4-40 bolt) about 3/4 to 1 inch long. It is very important to use a locknut, and only tighten snug. If you go too tight, you could break block, and you want the shock to be able to move freely inside, anyway.
The fronts of the blocks should be rotated down 90 degrees to print. I printed in PETG for strength, but PLA may work fine for these, it's a pretty light duty toy truck.
