Caught a YouTube vid by Mario Rodriguez based on chapter of book from couple decades back. View his vid for instructions on how to operate a reality based jig. Have had a seat blank for some time but not all the hand tools. Was pleased to find vid about constructing jig but it didn't have means to give varied depth of cut so added the 3 wedged items. The jig doesn't carve it all out but does do good amount. - To operate this model click to select the seat located in the jig. Move (slide) point A to point B along line C. Rotate 180 deg around point B. Slide A along C to B a 2nd time which completes a full operation. Repeat operation again adjusting depth of blade cut 'E' and rotating the pivot block pivot flap 'D' up and down as necessary. Using x-ray mode allows you to see the path blade cuts. Use layers to turn off and on your choice of seat blank and view various items. This is setup on old Craftsman contractors tablesaw with 7.25' blade. Build and use at your own risk. #wood_working
