My son broke his arm a couple months back, and one of the things that he was bummed about was his inability to play Mario Kart Wii easily with his big, bulky cast (priorities, right?).
This is a solution I hacked together using spare parts I had lying around to get him up and running again in the interim.

For the big yellow button, I actually used the 'Momentary Switch for Sino Plate S18' design.
The sketch (code) for the development board can be found in my GitHub repo.
