This update to the WiFi Tetris clock created by Brian Lough (http://blough.ie/wifi-tetris-clock/) fixes the problem of the clock not working on a ESP8266 board such as the WeMOS D1 R1. (Updated documented sketch included)
Brian's clock appeared in Hackspace and I have included a PDF of the article. I designed my own PCB to hold a WeMOS D1 R1 and to simplify the wiring required to the P3 64x32 RGB Matrix Display. It was made using the toner method. Eagle files are included.
I cut the ribbon cable supplied with the P3 Display in half with a pair of scissors and added 8x2 IDC connectors to each end. This plugs neatly into the board.
