Update: Added a container to hold the counterweight. Still a work in progress!
Still a work in progress! I need to figure out the counterweight system. My idea now is to make coin holders for each corner and attach them via strings to the frames and rods. I tried apples (inspired by Newton), but they don't work that great and are bulky. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Unsure how much filament is left on your spool? This handy spoolholder will show you how much is left. With its weighing mechanism it shows the percentage of filament left on your roll. It works via a counterweight system.
I only have a few hours of experience with Sketchup and I am not sure about the tolerances required for the moving parts. I have however printed all parts and assembled the spoolholder using my printer. Please feel free to remix it!
