A version 1.0 of a screen case for a 7" screen. It is intended to be mounted onto a printer frame and connected to a Raspberry Pi 3 for use as an "on-printer" computer.
The screen will require:
4 M3/M4 5mm screws and nuts for the screen mounting.
4 M3/M4 12mm screws and nuts for the face cover mounting.
4 M3/M4 12mm screws and nuts for the back-plate mounting.
A backplate (I used a small sheet of 2 mm aluminum cut to size and drilled holes for mounting).
For version 2.0,
-the screen width was either incorrect or the print was inaccurate. Decrease width of left vertical bar on faceplate.
-the faceplate-body connectors need to be thinner to allow screen more room.
-the screen mounting spaces need to be as thin as the faceplate-body connectors.
-alter the HDMI and USB hole port for correct spacing.
-adjust nut-trap sizes. These were either slightly too small or the print was inaccurate.
-increase wall thickness by 0.5-1.0 mm to increase strength.
