Water Tower in Estate Solitude, U.S. Virgin Islands

This is an old water tower built in the early 1700s. It used to pump water up the hill to the Sugar Mill to the East of it local. The well still has water but is not used today. The pasture is now used as a grazing pasture for goats. Some deer frequent the area as well. #Caribbean #Christiansted #danish #historical
