This wrench adapter fits a Camco 02142 or similar water heater element with a 1.5" hex head. It can be turned with a 13/16" wrench. I made this to facilitate installing a heater element through the wall of an ice chest, to make a DIY sous vide cooker. The ice chest has inner and outer walls, separated by foam. I drilled a 1.25" hole through both walls, enlarged the outer hole to 2" diameter, scraped away the foam insulation around the hole, and installed the heater element through the wall using a plastic conduit nut sized for 1" conduit, such as Grainger item 2DZG8 (goo.gl/YLgPTS), or Thomas & Betts Steel City BU503-1 plastic bushing. Print with 100% infill and supports. Print with the 13/16" hex stud down and use supports.
