Like small washbasins, the IKEA Lillangen single washbasin is just 27cm deep, perfect for small bathrooms but a pain when water runs down the face onto the cabinet below and ruins the wood/ particleboard.
This “sink roof” tile fits any washbasin with a flat wall face and is mounted with heavy-duty double-sided tape along the underside and 3 support faces. The top-hang over the lip of the basin lets water flow back into the basin. Water running off hands or arms toward the user is caught by the angled tile and drips off it, away from the cabinet below.
Panels can be interlinked with the provided clips. Stay dry!
Note: The tiles are 140mm wide (about the limits of my printer @150mm), and 4 of them fit my sink nicely. If you need different lengths let me know.
BOM: Heavy-duty double-sided tape from any hardware store.
