Warre Hive with sump

Warre hive made of 25mm thick lumber. During summer sump box rests on 4 safety matches placed on corners of floor. Helps prevent to fallen varroa mites climb up to hive internal walls to cluster of bees. On top of sump there is foot-bridge for bees, to crawl to oposite side of hive, acts as floor on traditional hive without sump box. For wintering bees I recomend put on sump box 1 or 2 empty hive boxes (with or without top bars, better probably with, if you lasy to add topbars on spring, topbars also helps keep temperature regime better) below 2 boxes with bee cluster and honey stores. These boxes will shield bees of cold wind blows through entrance.
