Introducing my latest artwork, the War-Torn Wheeled Cannon a 3D model that portrays a cannon used during a historical conflict. This artwork is the result of an incredible tutorial by the talented Marwan Hussein.
In this project, I went beyond the tutorial and took the model to the next level. I meticulously unwrapped the model, ensuring optimal UV layouts. The next step was to bake the high-poly details onto the low-poly model using the powerful Marmoset Toolbag. This process brought out the intricate wear and tear of battle, enhancing the realism of the cannon.
To truly bring the cannon to life, I turned to Substance Painter for texturing. With its extensive material library and intuitive tools, I meticulously painted layers of grime, rust, and battle scars, capturing the essence of its war-torn history.
