I wanted to create a cup/bottle holder that would also hold a cell phone (or MP3 Player) that when mounted to a wall would look like it was a manufactured item. The design has a hole in the cup holder which allows for condensation to drip out (might not be the best design feature) as I didn't want the cup holder to accumulate moisture. I also designed the cell slot to have a hole on the side which will allow for a charging cable and/or ear bud cable to be inserted and attached to the phone or MP3 Player.
I have not printed this item yet as my slicer is indicating it will take a long time to print (about 5 days) and it is a large item that will just fit in my printer. I have included two versions, one hollow and the other solid. I also included the original 123d Design files for each version so you can modify to your hearts desire!
When I print it I plan on printing in PLA in the upright position with 8% infill and supports.
UPDATE: I printed one with 8% infill using a raft and supports standing upright and it took just over 98 hours to print. If I were to print another I would definitely use more infill, like maybe 15~20% which will add more print time but I think the outcome would be better. I will post some photos when I get them together!
