Waist Light Holder (TPU)

This is a holder for a typical 18650 based L light. In my case one of the ZebraLights. In running at night on trails it helps dramatically to have a light source that is not in line with your eyeline to give you much better shadow definition. Shadows are how we perceive tripping hazards.
This should be printed in TPU, I use SainSmart, or some other flexible filament in order to work. NinjaFlex is probably going to be too flexible, I find the SainSmart TPU to be just flexible enough for almsot evrything flexible I need and crazy tough. And it can sit for literally a couple of years on the shelf, unprotected or bagged and still print perfectly the next time I need it.
It should be able to hold any tube based light that contains a 18650 battery source. See actual picture.
It's designed to be put on a 1.5" belt of some kind. I used elastic.
Included is two versions, one is just longer than the other. I use the longer one when it's hot and I sewed a breathable pad out of some 3D airmesh type fabric to go under the longer one.
I've tried making one that works out of PLA and PETG but the breakage of the holder is real and as a result only the version that works with flexible filament is here.
Anyway if you run at night on trails and have only been using a headlamp then try moving it lower down and see what a difference it makes.
