Now with adapter for gopro headmount.
The small part is either glued on to the screen splitter or acetone glued if ABS is used.
With youtube now supporting 360 vr vids I felt I had to do something so I could enjoy that!
And there are also apps out there that you can use to send picture from your pc to the phone and split it for VR.
So I designed this VR headset in Autodesk Inventor ( to hold with your hands ) to be able to see them on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3!
The lenses I recovered from two loupes ( image attatched of what kind of loupes )
With the measurements of : lens frame 30x30mm 5mm thick, lens dia 20mm with a focal point of 40mm.
And also I of course had to do the phone as real as I could in the rendering hehe!
Happy VR'ing out there!
Ps, I know the print quality of mine came out kinda wierd :P!
Probably due to a flimsy buildplate...
Gets better the closer it gets to the z axis.
